I also am allergic to hair colour. This one is magic. It did not irritate my scalp one little bit even though it has to remain on the hair for 90 minutes. The colour is not dark brown as the box says - but neither are my roots grey anymore! Honestly, I had given up and was about to get a wig. This product, while not giving perfect colour, at least gives a colour more fitting for our (required!) age. Try it ladies, (or gentlemen), it's certainly worth it.

I am horribly allergic to hair dye and this product has rescued me. I have tried a few other so called brown hennas but this one is easier to apply and more effective. I need to put it on the roots about once a fortnight, having very grey hair, but it is so worth it as the result is my own original colour and my hair in great condition. I am so grateful for this product .. Please NEVER stop producing it.

I used the Dark Brown Colour me Natural last week with great results. I have natural medium brown hair with approx 45% white hair and a previous chemical based dark brown colour on it. I have had reactions to some hair colours in the past and I have been increasingly uncomfortable about using chemical colours on my hair. I wanted a natural permanent colour, capable of covering white hairs and that didn't test on animals or have animal ingredients (Vegan). I am soooo happy that I eventually discovered Aubrey Colour me Natural which has competely covered my white hairs and left them a warm brown colour, lighter than my other hair but it blends in like highlights and looks lovely and natural. The whole effect is natural and my hair feels so thick and silky soft, noticabley less dandruff and less hair shedding too! I found the colouring process a treat, it was like a spa treatment, a little messy but well worth it for the results and no chemical nasties on my head. I left it on for 2 hours and did the recommended patch and strand test first. I would highly recommend this product. I would also like to add that the customer services team are super efficent at Aubrey and very helpful. FIVE STARS! Thanks Aubrey!

I've been meaning to write to you for a long time so say that I was thrilled to discover this hairdye. Having used conventional hairdyes half a dozen times, I suddenly became severely allergic to PPD. I also had a severe reaction to a so called 'herbal' hairdye, which burned the skin on my arm. A physician told me that had I used on my head I would certainly have been blinded if not killed. Subsequently, the product has been withdrawn from the market and the manufacturer has been dealt with by Trading Standards. I'm a vain woman in her forties who works out and wears make-up, so going grey is horrible. But this hairdye has been a Godsend plus it doesn't look as false as conventional black hairdyes. I spoke to member of your team in April whom I found to be really chatty and helpful and I promised to give some feedback. I'm sorry it's taken me so long but I really to want your organisation to know that I am grateful. Thank you again.

I have medium brown hair, and I have a few grey hairs around the temples. I never want to use a chemical hair color so I was trying to live with my grey hairs... but I came across this natural product and I decided to give it a try... I did a partial color. I mixed just 4 teaspoons of the powder with warm water and applied it to the front bangs and temples. I waited the ninety minutes, and presto, grey hairs are gone! The individual stands of grey hair might actually be a tint of orangy brown if you were to look real close, but they blend in with my natural hair color just beautifully! The color deposited on the rest of the hair I dyed is not really much darker at all, so I really like it! During application I became kind of worried because when you apply it starts out as a very strange brown color which will turn black as it dries out a bit, but do not worry it comes out just fine. I was going to do my entire head of hair but I plan to save the rest of the powder for partial color jobs to target my grey hair in front. My hair also feels silky. I am very pleased with the results!

I love love loooove this hair colour stuff! I put it on last night - and I'm very very pleased with the results....My hair is very shiny and smells great - And even though my hair is already dark brown naturally--It's now a deeper and richer dark brown - And it's thicker! About 4 years ago, I dyed my hair, then 3 months later I got it relaxed. Unfortunately, from that moment on I started to lose my hair. For the next two years I was losing my hair on and off. I finally started treating my own hair thru my diet and supplements and even started washing my hair with all natural shampoo and conditioner. At this point my relaxer had grown out and my grey hair had grown in, so I decided that I wanted to color my hair with all natural hair dye. I did some research on the internet and came across Aubrey Organics. I've been using their hair color product for about 5 months now and I love it! It looks like I have highlights in my hair because of my grey. I just hope that this product never gets discontinued because then I would be definitely stuck with the grey. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has had a bad experience with using chemicals in their hair. I tell you it is a very scary thing for someone such as myself who once hair a beautiful full head of hair to lose your hair. But now I am happy to report that me and my hair are doing fine.

After a severe allergic reaction to the PPD in hair dye 7 years ago, I have searched for a PPD-free hair coloring that looked natural, covered grey strands, and didn't wash out within a few washings. After trying many temporary hair colorings that looked fake then washed out in a week, and then trying different brands of henna that didn't cover grey, I finally tried Aubrey Color Me Natural after reading the reviews on this site. I have been using the product for a couple of months now and I am so pleased with the results that I was motivated to write my own review! My grey hair looks like golden brown highlights, my brown hair looks richer in color, and my hair overall looks thicker and conditioned. Best of all - I only have to re-henna my hair once a month to keep it looking good even though I shampoo almost daily. Thanks for a great product!!!
